Dahlia Dividing Workshop

$50.00

Come join us on Sunday, November 15 from 2-4pm in Brier for an afternoon of digging, dividing and learning all about dahlia storage! Dahlias are undoubtedly one of the most showy fall blooms, with endless colors and forms to choose from. They are truly the gift that keeps on giving. Plant one, and you’ll be digging up 5 to 15 tubers the next season! Maybe you’ve grown dahlias for a few years in your garden and would like to begin sharing them with friends? Or maybe you want to grow them but are intimidated by winter storage. Let’s break it all down and demystify dahlias together!

Bring a washed tuber clump to learn on your own (and exchange tubers at the end of the class!) or use one of mine.

Each attendant will receive a pair of my favorite dividing scissors, a tuber labeling pen and a storage bin with vermiculite to get you started. Please bring a pair of gloves and dress warmly as we will spend our time in a garage and outside in the garden (rain or shine!). Warm drinks will be offered!
